The Challenges
Busy Beaver produces almost 5000 buttons per day with most of those buttons having custom requirements. In the past the custom button creation process would require the customer to call in their custom order and send over files which would inevitably result in a back and forth series of emails finalizing in a proof that the customer could sign off on. One of our challenges, among many, was to design an online experience where the end user could customize their button and see the results in real time. We call it real time visual merchandising. This also included real time pricing updates based on all the different custom options the user could select. And the best part is that they could do all this without the need to speak with anyone at Busy Beaver. The results speak for themselves.
